Capacity Planning - Monitors and controls loading of vehicles for repair in the Service Workshop to ensure efficiency in workflow. Keeps track of vehicles inside workshop areas and ensures full productive utilization of work bay by immediate turnover of vehicles
Skills Inventory Assessment - Checks availability and skills capability inventory of technicians and coordinates with General Repair/Body Repair Officer regarding matching of Technician skills versus Job Requirements
Monitoring & Control- Check and reconciles open ROs vs. physical inventory of serviced units to
confirm that all units under repair in the workshop are authorized repairs
Monitoring & Control - Track and analyze key production metrics such as productivity and efficiency. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize service flow
Inventory Management - Monitor inventory of work-in-process in the workshop with job continuation and outstanding parts for both car-in and car-out units and implement necessary solutions to keep inventory capacity in minimum
Qualifications
Graduate of Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or Computer / Automotive Courses
1-2 years experience in Job Control or at least 3 years experience in Job Control from an automotive workshop
