Production Assistant (Apparel Production & PLM Systems)

The Production Assistant will support the production team for multiple apparel brands, including private label, ensuring production stays on schedule. This role involves extensive system entry in BlueCherry, maintaining work-in-progress reports, and acting as a key liaison between the team and factory partners. It is a remote, full-time position ideal for someone with experience in PLM/ERP systems and managing multiple priorities.

What you will do:

• Own accurate, timely data entry in BlueCherry for styles, purchase orders, costing, and production details
• Build, update, and maintain WIP reports to track styles from development through delivery, flagging delays proactively
• Create, issue, and maintain purchase orders (POs), monitoring and updating quantities, costs, and dates
• Track samples end to end, logging status, following up with factories, and coordinating hand-offs
• Conduct regular factory follow-ups on production timelines, shipping dates, and outstanding issues
• Escalate delays or quality concerns to the production team as needed
• Support production across all brands simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed

Key Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with BlueCherry or a similar PLM/ERP system is required
• Prior experience in apparel or fashion production, sourcing, or merchandising coordination
• Strong working knowledge of WIP management and the product development to production lifecycle
• Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable learning new systems
• Self-motivated and reliable in a remote work environment
• Ability to manage competing deadlines independently
