Production Artist

Equator will continue to play an important role as an agency within Marks.

Job Summary:

This position needs to assemble all components necessary to create digital files for packaging using various software that meet both the clients and Marks requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Skilled in preparing final artwork for production
• Detail-oriented with the ability to perform quality control, peer-to-peer QC checks
• Proficient in Acrobat and Esko tools for advanced QC comparisons
• Knowledge of technical printing processes (e.g., image bleeding, print marks, and production standards)
• Familiarity with technical dielines for accurate layout and production setup
• Has a creative side and brings fresh ideas to the table. (Layouting and Color retouching)
• Willing to work flexible hours. Morning and/or Night shift
• Willing to be coached and trained to grow with the team

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year of experience or a fresh graduate of Graphic Arts and Printing Technology, exposure in the packaging industry will be an advantage
• Good command of written English is needed; spoken English is a benefit but not essential.
• Knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
