Production Artist for US apparel decorator

A US-based apparel decorator is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Artist to join their team! They offer screen printing, embroidery, and DTG/DTF digital printing in-house.

Knowledge or experience with apparel decoration and different printing methods is a huge bonus!

Est. pay: $1300 - $1500 USD/month, depending on experience

Type: Ind. Contractor, Full time (40 hrs week)

Shift: US EST business hours, possible flexibility after first 30-60 days

Responsibilities/What a day looks like for you:

• Building Garment Mockups: Use apparel templates from Shopworks to create clear visual proofs, matching garment colors and accurately sizing and placing artwork (like left chest or full back) with correct specs.
• Prepping Artwork for Production: Prepare artwork files for DTF (Direct to Film) and embroidery setup so they are ready for the floor. No color separations required.
• Managing Daily Orders: Check your daily schedule in Shopworks and pull work orders and artwork files from Google Drive to keep jobs moving on time.
• Handling Proof Approvals: Upload completed mockups into Shopworks for customer review, monitor your email for approvals, and track order statuses.
• Coordinating with the Team: Work closely with the internal team to hand off approved designs and get orders processed for final production.

Ideal candidate skills and experience:

• 2-3 years Adobe Illustrator experience 

•Shopworks experience is another huge bonus!

• Experience working with apparel decoration, including different methods of decoration (screen printing, embroidery, and DTF transfers) is a huge bonus!

• Tech Savviness - experience with task management software

• Great English communication skills
