The position is primarily responsible for overseeing minting operations, including machine operation, materials management, production coordination, and quality control, while ensuring operational efficiency, workplace safety, inventory accuracy, and timely achievement of production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage minting operations, ensuring the safety and security of personnel, facility, equipment, and gold materials while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Oversee the end-to-end gold minting process in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules, raw material requirements, logistics, and delivery of finished gold products to meet production targets.
- Oversee the inventory, storage, security, and safekeeping of gold inputs, work-in-process stocks, and finished goods.
- Monitor production quality, equipment condition, preventive maintenance, and operational performance, and prepare required production and performance reports.
- Lead and develop the minting team through coaching, training, performance management, and implementation of 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a four-year course, preferably with vocational/trade certification in metalworking, jewelry-making, minting, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing/operations management, stamping/minting, product development, and people management.
- Knowledge and technical experience in gold/precious metals, stamping, forming, or minting operations.
