Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Report directly to local GM and is responsible for identifying upcoming market opportunities and technological advancements in the medical industry.
- Collaborate with the product development team to build product pipelines and formulate marketing and sales strategies.
- Conduct market research, engage in customer/focus group interviews, and maintain relationships with sales networks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct regular market research to identify potential market opportunities.
- Collaborate with product development team to assess feasibility and potential for new products.
- Work closely with product development team to create and maintain a product pipeline.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market research and customer feedback.
- Develop comprehensive marketing and sales strategies for medical products.
- Collaborate with marketing team to execute marketing plans effectively.
- Conduct market research to assess customer needs, preferences, and trends.
- Conduct interviews with key customers and focus groups to gather feedback and evaluate potential new products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales networks in Philippines.
- Identify and establish sales channels to expand the customer base and develop sales opportunities.
- Create new accounts and engage with existing customers to drive sales growth.
- Organize marketing activities, such as product launches, webinars, and social media marketing campaigns.
- Measure success and effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Provide product expertise to customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
- Conduct product training sessions to enhance customer knowledge and satisfaction.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the Company.
Job Specification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a Product Specialist or similar role within the medical industry.
- Preference will be given to candidates with specialized experience in oncology/ophthalmology.
- Has experience in handling hospital inclusion process, including dealing with the Therapeutics Committee.
- Has strong science background and can understand/ communicate the technical details of innovative products.
- Has strong salesmanship with good track record of sales performance.
- Has good communication and interpersonal relationship skills to engage various Specialties relevant to the organisation.
- In-depth knowledge of the medical industry, market trends, and technologies.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret market data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
