Product Specialist

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Product Specialist shall be responsible for key product areas within the PalawanPay platform. The Product Manager is tasked to come up with core product requirements, have a working definition of success and oversee its deployment and subsequent monitoring and improvement.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Higher

Related Work Experience: Minimum of two to three years experience in a product management or business analysis, product design role.

Skills:

• Experience in fintech startups or other related industries. Familiarity with the regulatory environment is a bonus.

• Agile software development experience

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

• Experience writing product specifications, use cases, test case and business cases.

• Knowledge of A/B Testing

• Entrepreneurial Spirit

• Experience working with cross-functional teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. The Associate Product Manager is in charge of refining the product definition for the assigned product area, clearly communicated with input from various stakeholders within the PFSC organization.
2. Make key decisions like build vs buy as well as new features to build and prioritize.
3. Ingest product feedback from customers and internal users on a daily basis and converting these to user requirements.
4. Work alongside the UX research team by participating in user interviews, surveys and user journeys.
5. Work alongside PFSC's analytics team in monitoring key metrics and developing measurement plans for our platforms.
6. Work alongside the product design and engineering teams by developing product specifications and constantly collaborating in a fast-paced scrum environment.
7. Work alongside a greater cross-functional team, serving as lead for long-term and ad-hoc projects.
8. Be attuned to key trends and technologies in the Fintech space.
9. Manage existing relationships with third-party vendors and partners.
10. Communicate product related updates to the organization.
