Job Description

Your Role:

The Therapeutic Area Specialist/Product Specialist represents the company effectively by serving as experts on specific products and services, understanding their functionality, design, and benefits to effectively communicate to target customers and achieve goal of boosting sales and contributing to long term growth.

What you will do:

  • Short and Long term achievement of assigned brand and portfolio targets through timely execution of activities and proper utilization of marketing budget
  • Deliver prescribed volume and frequency of calls and activities to target doctors of assigned brands
  • Engage with customers to identify their needs and suggest appropriate APH products
  • Generate account patient journeys and procurement processes
  • Deliver prescribed administrative reports as required
  • May be asked to lead territory and brand cross functional projects
  • Provide necessary inputs to brand/portfolio plan through data driven insights
  • Ability to facilitate cross functional business reviews
  • Assist in the creation of promotional materials and product marketing strategies
  • Train other staff members on the product details
  • Assist in product development and enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends
  • May be asked to serve as Sales Supervisor in certain geographical scenarios

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Medical, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Marketing, Business, or any related field.
  • Additional training or certification in pharmaceutical sales, account management, or product marketing is an advantage.
  • Proven expertise in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales in Cardio or in a closely related therapeutic field.
  • Demonstrated capability in territory management, customer engagement and handling account procurement and patient journey processes.
  • Strong understanding of product portfolio positioning, customer insights, and market trends relevant to assigned brands.
  • Effective in presentation, training, and facilitation, with the ability to assist in product detailing and marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key accounts, and internal stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and willing to be assigned anywhere in the region, with leadership potential to serve in supervisory capacity when required.
