About the Role

This role is responsible for achieving assigned sales targets by selling business management solutions. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of product benefits, marketplace dynamics, and industry trends to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies. The Sales or Product Consultant works collaboratively with sales and support teams to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals, aligning with the company's vision and values.

Responsibilities:

Sales Activities and Customer Engagement:

  • Gather and generate prospective customers, identify new target segments, and penetrate sales for assigned product lines.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings and product demonstrations with prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and recommending products or services that align with their requirements.

Market and Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of products to tailor solutions that meet client demands.
  • Stay informed and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business and marketing opportunities.

Achievement of Sales Targets, Revenue Generation and Strategy Development:

  • Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiate contracts to achieve sales targets.
  • Work within sales and support teams to meet customer satisfaction, revenue goals, and long-term account objectives.
  • Prepare and implement sales strategies to effectively communicate product benefits and advantages.
  • Generate revenue by providing expert advice and maintaining in-depth product knowledge.

Networking and Partnerships:

  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and network with local associations to promote products.
  • Build partnerships with distributors, suppliers, and other channel partners to enhance market reach.

Other Duties:

  • Provide after-sales support to customers, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate internally and externally to all stakeholders.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management to support the overall sales function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, Business, Management, or related courses
  • Proven experience in IT sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of the IT marketplace, industry trends, and competitive landscape
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships and build strategic partnerships
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Quick thinking of providing creative solutions that address customer's needs and concerns
  • With a pleasing personality and excellence in Business English communication skills
  • Willing to travel and do fieldwork
