AT A GLANCE
The Product Project Manager oversees the planning and execution of product design and product development projects. The role serves as the central coordinator between cross-functional teams to ensure products are developed and launched on time, meet quality standards, and remain aligned with brand goals.
YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Collaborate with Product Design, Product Strategy, Strategic Sourcing and Development, and Merchandising and other cross-functional teams to plan seasonal collections, product launches, and key business initiatives
- Represent the Product team in cross-functional planning meetings and business alignments
- Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and launch calendars to ensure timely execution of product initiatives
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks to proactively coordinate solutions across teams.
- Serve as the primary project owner, ensuring readiness before products move into development, production, and launch.
Product Development and Alignment
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of product development projects from concept, design, sampling, validation, production readiness, and launch.
- Ensure every product initiative reflects the brand's design DNA, commercial objectives, and product quality expectations.
- Lead product briefings, ensuring stakeholders have clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Align product direction with Product Design, Merchandising, Brand, and business leaders before execution.
- Ensure product specifications, timelines, and deliverables remain aligned throughout the development process.
- Maintain visibility of all ongoing product initiatives and ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope.
Project and Team Management
- Manage project timelines, priorities, and workload across Product Design and cross-functional teams.
- Track project progress, key milestones, approvals, and action items while ensuring accountability across stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, documentation, and project updates to keep teams aligned throughout development.
- Support process improvements that increase efficiency, visibility, and consistency across product development workflows.
- Assist team leads in resource planning and project prioritization to ensure timely delivery of business objectives.
YOUR TALENT
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Project Management, Communications or any related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Project Management, Product Development, Merchandising, or related.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from concept through product launch
- Strong understanding of product development processes, project management methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration.
