About the Role
We're looking for a Product Partner who will act as the customer and segment strategist within our Product Organization. This role ensures that the products we introduce to the market are deeply relevant, well-positioned, and aligned to the unique needs of the segment you represent.
If you're passionate about understanding customer behavior, analyzing market trends, shaping segment-level GTM strategies for product launches, and influencing product direction through insights—this role is for you.
You'll help the organization make smarter bets by representing the voice of the customer and keeping Product Managers, Marketing, Sales, and BU leaders grounded in what truly matters for your segment.
What You'll Do
Be the Segment Expert
- Build a deep understanding of your segment's customers — their needs, motivations, pain points, and buying behavior.
- Monitor market developments and competitive moves that shape customer expectations.
- Conduct interviews, field visits, and insight cycles to directly validate assumptions.
Ensure Strong Product–Segment Fit
- Evaluate centrally developed products to determine whether they meet your segment's needs.
- Determine which products to launch, localize, bundle for the segment
- Provide structured customer and market insight to influence product strategy and decisions.
Shape GTM Strategy for Product Launches
- Define segment-specific GTM strategy for new product launches: personas, value propositions, messaging.
- Work closely with Marketing to ensure creative assets reflect segment realities and positioning.
- Support Sales Enablement with customer-specific talking points, differentiators, and objection handling.
Influence Product Discovery & Roadmaps
- Provide critical insights that guide product discovery, concept shaping, and prioritization.
- Surface unmet needs, emerging trends, and opportunity areas to drive roadmap decisions.
Partner Across the Business
- Work with Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and leadership on adoption and growth of your segment.
- Share segment-level performance signals and customer feedback post-launch.
- Help ensure alignment across all teams on what best drives customer value.
What You Bring
- Strong background in customer insight, product marketing, or segment strategy.
- Ability to translate customer understanding into clear value propositions and recommendations.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in Product, Marketing, Sales, or BU roles.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills — you can influence without authority.
- Analytical thinking with an appreciation for both qualitative and quantitative insight.
- Experience in telco, tech, SaaS, consumer, SME, or similar industries is a plus.
