About the Role

The Product Owner drives product success by owning the end-to-end lifecycle-from defining vision to delivering measurable outcomes. This role translates strategy into execution, aligns cross-functional teams, and ensures every release delivers real business value. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in stakeholder-facing roles, managing backlogs with accountability for timely delivery, project success, and stakeholder and end-user satisfaction
  • Experience with consumer-facing digital products
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a servant leader, foster an Agile mindset, and promote collaboration across teams
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Action-oriented team player with a strong sense of responsibility and proven ability to complete projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify product innovation opportunities aligned with customer and market needs and business priorities
  • Self-motivated professional with the ability to manage multiple project priorities and drive quality execution in fast-paced environments
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile software development processes and principles, particularly in a Product Owner role or similar

Responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy Alignment:

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business goals
  • Ensure the product roadmap supports strategic objectives
  • Develop and communicate a product vision aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Transform strategies, initiatives, user feedback, and insights into executable requirements for the development team and drive growth opportunities throughout the development lifecycle
  • Manage roadmap, budget, scope, risks, dependencies, and timelines

Backlog Management:

  • Maintain a well-groomed and prioritized product backlog
  • Write clear and actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria
  • Create and maintain well-defined backlogs that reflect business priorities and remain ready for development, working closely with development teams to plan and execute timely releases

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations
  • Balance conflicting needs and negotiate priorities
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide regular visibility on release timelines, progress, and future direction

Customer-Centric Mindset:

  • Use customer insights, feedback, and data to inform product decisions
  • Prioritize features and fixes that enhance user experience and satisfaction

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with development teams, designers, and testers to deliver high-quality features
  • Facilitate communication across departments to ensure alignment
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure the user experience aligns with goals and meets user expectations

Agile & Scrum Practices:

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Lead Agile teams and ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-up, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospective
  • Champion Agile principles and contribute to process improvements

Quality & Delivery Focus:

  • Ensure the delivered product meets defined quality standards and business requirements
  • Implement Agile practices to optimize product development and delivery and support continuous process improvement
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive roadmaps aligned with business priorities and market needs, outlining key milestones, releases, and feature deliveries

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative and operational support tasks related to IT
  • Support additional duties assigned by the Associate Manager, Manager, or other company representatives as needed
