Responsibilities
Translate features into detailed requirements and final product development for engineering teams.
Collaborate with customers, team members, and outside influencers to ensure a solid and well-rounded understanding of products and development needs.
Author user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure delivered product increments meet definition of done.
Ensure that story content and a metrics-based prioritization methods are aligned to larger strategic objectives.
Manage overall execution to ensure requirement and project deliverable dates can be clearly communicated to product management, program management and stakeholders.
Be the high-availability resource for technical team on a day-to-day basis.
Attend Scrum events and lead grooming sessions.
Effectively communicate strategies & trade-offs up to leadership and down to the development team.
Identify blockers that will impact timeline, scope, cost or other project variables and escalate to the appropriate stakeholders.
5+ years of direct Product Manager or Product Owner experience;
Demonstrable experience with full scope of product owner responsibilities.
Background in any of the following: enterprise application software, B2B products, data science/analytic products, or reporting software.
In-depth understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and current Agile product management
practices.
Strong organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to set priorities based on alignment with business goals and strategic direction, define timelines and deliver to commitments.
Familiarity with Agile project management tools like JIRA or equivalent.
Must be able to travel up to 10% to understand field users needs and requirements.
Ability to quickly understand and document business processes and elicit information from others.
Passion for driving change and improving software delivery practices.
Advanced certification in any Agile or Scaling framework is a plus
