Product Operations (Sourcing & Purchasing Lead)

Own sourcing, purchasing, and production execution to ensure products are manufactured, compliant, and launch-ready on time, on cost, and to standard.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Manufacturer Management

Identify, evaluate, and onboard manufacturers (with design/specs provided)

Lead supplier negotiations (pricing, MOQs, lead times, payment terms)

Maintain supplier scorecards (quality, timeliness, responsiveness)

Serve as the primary day-to-day manufacturer contact

2. Purchasing & Production Execution

Execute purchase orders based on approved demand inputs

Own PO lifecycle: placement production pre-ship readiness

Track production timelines and proactively resolve delays or issues

Ensure alignment between specs, quantities, and production outputs

3. Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure products meet regulatory, safety, and brand QA standards

Coordinate lab testing, documentation, and certifications as needed

Manage pre-production and pre-shipment quality checks

Flag and resolve quality risks before shipment or launch

4. Cross-Functional Leadership

Act as the bridge between Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing

Translate launch plans into executable production timelines

Lead internal production readiness checkpoints

5. Launch Execution

Ensure product availability aligns with launch and channel timelines

Coordinate final production readiness for retail / e-commerce launches

Support post-launch issue resolution (quality, replenishment execution)
