Job Description
- Develop and execute portfolio strategies that support revenue growth, profitability, market share, and long-term business objectives.
- Lead market intelligence activities, including customer insights, competitive analysis, segmentation, and opportunity identification.
- Define product positioning, value propositions, pricing architecture, and portfolio roadmaps.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including product expansion, rationalisation, localisation, and innovation initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end go-to-market planning, product launches, channel readiness, sales enablement, and post-launch assessments.
- Monitor portfolio performance through revenue, margin, market share, adoption, and ROI metrics.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Development, Engineering, Service, Finance, Supply Chain, and external agencies to ensure strong commercial execution.
- Oversee product content, technical communications, brand consistency, and customer-facing materials.
- Lead and develop a team comprising Brand, Product, Digital, and Shopper Marketing functions.
- Establish clear performance expectations, strengthen team capability, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
The Successful Applicant
Ideal CandidateNon-Negotiable Requirements
- 10-12+ years of progressive experience in Product Marketing, Category Management, Product Management, or related commercial leadership roles.
- Demonstrated ownership of portfolio growth, pricing strategy, profitability, market share, or category performance.
- Proven expertise in portfolio strategy and lifecycle management.
- Strong track record of leading successful product launches from concept to post-launch evaluation.
- Experience building value-based pricing strategies and managing product profitability.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with experience translating insights into action.
- Experience working closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Development, Service, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Experience leading managers and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience within HVAC, air-conditioning, building technologies, engineered products, industrial equipment, electrical systems, or related technical industries.
- Exposure to both B2B and B2C product portfolios.
- Experience managing dealer, distributor, retail, contractor, consultant, or project-based channels.
- Portfolio or category P&L accountability.
- Experience with product development, innovation pipelines, localisation, specification management, or demand planning.
- Southeast Asia market exposure and regional stakeholder engagement.
- MBA or relevant product marketing qualifications.
- Experience using digital marketing analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve business performance and productivity.
