The Product Manager role is to oversee the day-to-day management of the assigned specific products within TBG portfolio. This includes continuous improvement of existing products and development of new products in alignment to the company's goals and objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs and competitor offerings that is necessary for informed product decisions and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Develop applicable product initiatives according to management direction and in support of the bank's business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development and enhancement of the TBG products.
- Clearly define and document system development requirements, operations and technical support requirements incorporated in a Business Requirement Document for any product initiative.
- Ensure any product initiative is properly documented with appropriate Product Manual, Policies and Procedures Manual, Process Flows, User's Manuals that conforms with the Bank's Policies and BSP regulations.
- Ensure that product meet quality standards and are thoroughly tested before production release in coordination with Product Systems Management Team.
- Ensure that any product initiative, either enhancement or new development, are cleared by Legal and compliant with the bank and BSP policies.
- Prepare and develop the necessary sales, promotions, merchandising and training materials in support of any product launch or sales thrusts of existing products.
- Monitor the performance of the TBG products to ensure product profitability.
- Gather customer feedback for a deep understanding of customer behavior and to identify areas for product improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or other related courses
- At least 3 years of relevant banking experience, preferably in Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Payments or Product Management
