Overview
Responsible for the identification, development, negotiation, and management of strategic alliances or partnerships and colloborations with other organizations to drive mutual business growth, revenue and market reach. Key responsibilities include finding potential partners, negotiating agreements, fostering strong relationships, developing joint strategies, monitoring performance, and ensuring seamless integration of partner products or services. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills to align partnerships with overarching business goals.
Functions and Responsibilities
Partner Identification and Research:
- Conduct market analysis and research to identify potential partners that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations through regular communication and collaboration.
Agreement Development:
- Support senior management in negotiating and structuring partnership agreements, including terms of engagement and contracts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Sales, Pre-Sales, Solutions Architecs) to ensure that partnership strategies are aligned with overall business goals and to facilitate seamless execution.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) of partnerships, providing regular reports and making recommendations for improvement.
Issue Resolution:
- Proactively identify and address potential conflicts or issues that may arise within partnerships to ensure their success.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative and logistical assistance to Strategic Partnership Manager and contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations.
Employment Standards
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field is generally required.
- A master's degree or MBA can be a significant advantage.
- Has done at least 2-3 years work experience in developing, managing, and maintaining strategic alliances
- Experience in business development or related roles with a track record of success
- Familiar with the specific industry or market the company operates in.
- Visionary and have strong business communication and writing skills, leadership, and project management.
