We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of satellite connectivity solutions serving residential, small and medium-sized business (SMB), and enterprise customers. This role is responsible for transforming market opportunities and customer requirements into scalable service offerings while managing partnerships, commercial viability, and customer experience throughout the product journey.
The successful candidate will oversee products across the full lifecycle—from concept and launch through ongoing enhancement and performance optimization—to ensure alignment with business goals and market demand.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap Management
- Develop and execute product strategies that support organizational objectives and evolving market demands.
- Create and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives based on customer insights, market trends, business value, and competitive analysis.
- Identify opportunities for new products, services, and technology-driven enhancements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and market segments to support future growth initiatives.
Product Lifecycle Management
- Manage the complete product lifecycle, including planning, requirements definition, development, launch, and continuous improvement.
- Define product specifications, service standards, and customer experience requirements.
- Establish and maintain operational processes covering ordering, provisioning, activation, service assurance, billing, and customer support.
- Monitor product-related resources and utilization to optimize operational efficiency and cost management.
- Review demand forecasts and support planning activities for infrastructure expansion and business viability.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to assess commercial feasibility and strategic value.
- Manage pricing structures and cost models, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
- Deliver product knowledge sessions and enablement programs for sales and support teams.
Market Research & Customer Insights
- Conduct market research and competitive assessments to identify customer needs and growth opportunities.
- Gather and evaluate customer feedback, usage trends, and market data to guide product decisions.
- Monitor industry developments and emerging technologies to anticipate future customer requirements.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with technical, commercial, financial, and operational teams to ensure successful product delivery and adoption.
- Communicate product vision, priorities, and business objectives to stakeholders across the organization.
- Drive alignment among cross-functional teams and support the timely execution of product initiatives.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success.
- Analyze product performance, customer behavior, and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Recommend and implement enhancements that improve customer satisfaction, adoption, and business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of product management experience, preferably within telecommunications, connectivity, internet services, or related technology sectors.
- Exposure to satellite communications technologies and connectivity solutions.
- Strong understanding of satellite connectivity concepts, including low Earth orbit (LEO), medium Earth orbit (MEO), geostationary orbit (GEO), backhaul services, ground infrastructure, and user terminals.
- Strong commercial and business acumen with experience balancing customer value, pricing, and profitability considerations.
- Demonstrated success in launching, managing, and optimizing technology products or services.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
- Advanced data analysis and performance evaluation skills.
