The Role:
The Non-Life Insurance Product Manager is responsible for developing and managing Security Bank's non-life insurance portfolio across multiple partner insurers. The role focuses on designing and integrating general insurance products into the bank's ecosystem — particularly as bundled or embedded propositions within loans, credit cards, CASA, and digital platforms. With an emphasis on digital enablement (mApp, online channels), the role will build new product concepts, strengthen existing mandatory insurance arrangements, and establish profitability and performance monitoring frameworks for sustainable non-life insurance growth.
How you'll contribute:
- Finetune and execute the non-life insurance strategy focused on growth, profitability, and product innovation across multiple insurers
- Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with various non-life insurance providers to ensure competitive pricing, flexibility, and product diversity.
- Create and enhance products aligned with bank propositions — e.g., Amortized Auto insurance, Travel, Home Content insurance, PPI add-on, and Cyber Protection.
- Conduct regular profitability and performance reviews of non-life products, identifying pricing or cost-structure improvements.
- Review and renegotiate existing terms with current mandatory insurance providers to improve commercial conditions and customer experience.
- Ensure all product proposals and marketing materials meet BSP and Insurance Commission regulations.
- Transition yearly upfront Auto (Fire/MRI) premiums to amortized structures embedded in loan installments
What we're looking for:
- Candidates should have at least 5 to 10 years of experience in end to end product management.
- With Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills (profitability, pricing, sensitivity analysis). Good understanding of Philippine insurance regulations and bancassurance model.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
