Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Tech Solutions Product Manager is part of the MGI Tech Solutions pioneer team that will build, design, run, and monitor various group-wide tech solutions such as systems, software, applications, and integrations, acting as the lead in bridging internal customers (MGI subs/BUs/OUs) with external suppliers/vendors. The role will report to the MGI Business Unit Head for Tech.

KEY RESULTS AREAS:

The Product Manager will be assessed based on ability to lead the following:

  • Product Lifecycle Management (Research)
  • Be up-to-date with the latest tech studies and trends relevant to MGI; be able to summarize insights to share to the team
  • Be able to pool relevant suppliers/vendors for MGI group-wide needs; lead process of facilitating demos, securing cost estimates, crafting a TOR, etc. in collaboration with internal MGI customers
  • Product Lifecycle Management (Planning)
  • Work with the Business Unit Head and Stockton team in co-creating the Business Plans (ABP, OBP, etc.) required
  • Work with the Business Unit Head, MGI internal customers, and relevant suppliers/vendors, in crafting the Product's Go-to-Market and Growth Strategy
  • Manage end-to-end Budget for assigned projects
  • Product Lifecycle Management (Execution)
  • Lead product preparations such as User Acceptance Testing and Beta Testing, Training, etc. prior to launch
  • Lead product launch such as Go-Live and Support
  • Oversee day-to-day product uptime and downtime
  • Liaise with suppliers/vendors regularly to ensure product uptime; lead Supplier Performance Management for assigned projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College Graduate preferably of a Business Management/Administration, Economics, or Marketing degree; further degrees and related certifications, an advantage
  • At least 7 years of managerial experience in Product Management/Marketing/Business Development
  • Tech-savvy (beyond Microsoft ecosystem and social media applications)
  • Strong business acumen: total ownership of OKRs and costs
  • Strong sense of market behavior to match with tech trends
  • High on initiative and a self-starter
  • Outstanding communication skills
