The Product Manager / Pre-Sales Solution Manager is responsible for designing and positioning fixed network solutions that align with customer requirements and business objectives. This role combines technical expertise, market analysis, and customer engagement to develop competitive solutions, support sales opportunities, and drive business growth within the ICT industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop fixed network solutions based on customer requirements and industry best practices.
- Define product strategies, roadmaps, and solution offerings to support business objectives and market demands.
- Prepare Bills of Quotation (BOQ), conduct product evaluations and beta testing, and ensure solution readiness for customer deployment.
- Engage extensively with customers to understand business and technical requirements, ensuring a customer-centric approach to solution development.
- Partner closely with Key Account teams to identify business opportunities, analyze customer needs, and recommend new solutions or enhancements to existing offerings.
- Develop competitive technical proposals, solution architectures, and pricing strategies to support project acquisition and business growth.
- Deliver technical presentations, solution demonstrations, workshops, and product briefings to customers and stakeholders.
- Support responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs by providing technical expertise and solution recommendations.
- Coordinate proof-of-concept (POC) activities, technical workshops, and customer engagements to validate proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, product management, and customer-facing teams to ensure successful solution delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to strengthen product positioning and pricing strategies.
- Provide technical consultation throughout the sales cycle and help drive opportunities toward successful closure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, product management, or solution sales within the ICT or telecommunications industry.
- Experience supporting carrier, telecommunications, or network infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of ICT products, fixed network technologies, and telecommunications solutions.
- Solid technical expertise combined with strong business acumen and customer engagement skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Goal-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of working effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
