Product Manager

Purpose of the Position :

• Responsible for product development, product management and plan for marketing strategies of assigned product portfolio to achieve market profitability, target sales and market share goals.
• Execute marketing activities to grow the product portfolio and to meet sales targets per brand.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Must be the company's product champion based on the products assigned under his portfolio.
• To develop a cost-effective and thorough marketing plan for his product and implement the marketing strategies that are written on it within the specified time frame;
• To be aware at all times of all factors influencing the status of assigned products – competition, pricing, government policies, drugstores and all channels of product distribution
• To assist the Training Manager in the development of teaching syllabus for the new members of the Sales teams as well as during the conduct of relevant product training;
• To periodically meet the Sales Teams under his care and initiate the updating and enriching of their product knowledge;
• To periodically meet with the top opinion leaders falling within the specialties under his care and establish rapport with them;
• To update the rolling forecast of his/her assigned product at the end of each month;
• To carry out all assignments from the Sales and Marketing Manager considered as supportive of implementing strategic projects.
• Performs other related functions as may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time to carry out business goals.

Qualification Requirements

• Education : College Graduate – College degree in business-related course with aptitude and exposure to product management
• Experience or Skills Required – With at least 3 years working experience in the same capacity in pharmaceutical set-up Must have good verbal and written communication; Creative, Self-Motivated; With good working knowledge in the conduct of market research and data interpretation and analysis; Excellent analytical skills; Good technical background in product development and management; keen to details
• Computer Literacy and Excellent knowledge of various presentation mediums
• Other Relevant Information – Must be mobile to conduct fieldwork in different locations in the Philippines.
