Product Management Section Head

Job Summary:

• Leads a product section covering Real-Time Payments, Card-Based Payments, or Wholesale & Institutional Large Value Products, and translates product strategy into clear business and operational initiatives.

• Oversees the end-to-end product lifecycle and performance of assigned products, including product enhancements, implementation readiness, governance, compliance, and ongoing performance monitoring.

• Monitors key product metrics such as transaction volume, value, adoption, incidents, financial performance, and product-level P&L, and provides regular performance insights to Senior Management.

• Works closely with Operations, Technology, Relationship Management, Finance, Risk & Compliance, participants, regulators, and external partners to ensure seamless product delivery and issue resolution.

• Translates market trends, customer feedback, regulatory developments, and competitive insights into product improvements and actionable plans to strengthen product relevance and adoption.

• Ensures products and initiatives comply with regulatory, risk, audit, and internal governance requirements, including timely resolution of compliance findings and completion of required documentation.

• Leads and develops the product team by setting clear goals, coaching team members, and driving execution, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in product management and/or banking, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.

• Strong background in payment systems, banking operations, and regulatory requirements.

• Strong experience in:

o Product lifecycle management

o Portfolio management

o Product performance and P&L management

o Market and competitive analysis

o Risk and compliance management

o Stakeholder management

o People leadership

o Product or project management certification is an advantage.
