- Product Discovery & Solution Definition - Translate business, regulatory, and customer needs into actionable product solutions, leveraging hands-on experience building blockchain and fintech applications.
- Product Requirements & Backlog Management - Define, document, and maintain detailed product requirements for blockchain and fintech capabilities, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artifacts. Create clear user flows, business process diagrams, and system interaction maps that translate complex financial and blockchain concepts into actionable guidance for engineering and design. Own and continuously refine the product backlog, integrating stakeholder input, regulatory considerations, and delivery constraints to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Blockchain & Fintech Domain Leadership - Leverage deep expertise in blockchain and modern fintech architectures to shape product strategy and execution across distributed ledgers, smart contract frameworks, digital asset custody, decentralized identity, payment rails, and core financial infrastructure. Provide authoritative guidance on risk management, compliance considerations, and integration patterns that align with emerging industry standards.
- Delivery Collaboration & Execution - Work directly with Engineering and Design throughout the deliverylifecycle, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and acceptance. Clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities to unblock teams.
- Product Documentation - Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including functional specifications, work instructions, workflows, release notes, and internal enablement materials.
- Product Rollout & Enablement - Engage cross-functional stakeholders (business, compliance, legal, operations, and technology) to gather input, communicate progress, and align on delivery plans and release readiness.

JOB SUMMARY
The Product Lead will support the BenevaTrust initiative by owning product execution for a blockchain-enabled fintech platform. This role is responsible for defining and documenting product requirements, managing the backlog, supporting delivery, and coordinating product rollouts. This includes but is not limited to:
Product Requirements & Execution
-Define and document functional and non-functional product requirements
-Maintain a prioritized backlog aligned with delivery capacity and dependencies
-Author epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
-Validate delivered functionality against documented requirements
Blockchain & Fintech Product Development
-Apply hands-on experience building blockchain and fintech applications to solution design
-Support decisions related to scalability, security, and compliance
-Ensure product functionality aligns with regulatory and operational needs
Collaboration & Iteration
-Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Clients/Stakeholders, to refine requirements and delivery plans
-Participate in sprint ceremonies and release planning
-Iterate on requirements and documentation based on delivery feedback
Product Documentation & Enablement
-Produce and maintain product documentation, including specs, workflows, work instructions and release notes
-Prepare internal enablement materials for stakeholders and support teams
-Ensure documentation reflects delivered functionality and changes over time
Product Rollout & Release Support
-Coordinate product releases with stakeholders and delivery teams
-Support UAT, go-live readiness and post-release validation
-Capture and and communicate lessons learned to improve future releases
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
- Strong experience building blockchain-based and fintech applications
- Proven ability to document complex systems clearly and accurately
- Experience managing product backlogs and delivery execution
- Strong understanding of regulated financial environments
- Comfortable working in Agile/SCRUM teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and delivery-focused
- Able to synthesize stakeholder input into clear documentation and execution plans
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in fintech, blockchain, or financial systems development
- Proven experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Demonstrated experience delivering production-grade blockchain or fintech products
- Experience working closely with Engineering teams in Agile environments
- Proven ability to manage requirements, documentation, and release coordination
