We are looking for a structured, analytical, and business-oriented Product Governance Senior Specialist to strengthen governance across the Product organization, including AI-enabled products, automation, and data-driven systems.
This role ensures products are built, launched, and managed in line with regulatory requirements, risk standards, and strategic priorities—while enabling innovation. It also plays a key role in governing AI adoption across the product lifecycle, ensuring safe, scalable, and auditable implementation.
You will act as the governance bridge between Product, Engineering, Risk & Compliance, and Business Units—driving disciplined execution, structured decision-making, and clear risk visibility.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Governance & Risk
- Enforce Product Governance frameworks (PDLC), including AI governance checkpoints
- Ensure completion of controls, approvals, and documentation pre-launch
- Identify gaps and strengthen governance controls
- Support audit readiness and monitor/ escalate risks (including AI-related)
Process & Framework Design
- Standardize governance processes with AI-specific checks (risk rating, traceability, approvals)
- Embed governance gates across product lifecycle and releases
- Optimize processes using automation and AI-assisted workflows
Program Governance & Oversight
- Track governance compliance of product and AI initiatives
- Facilitate governance forums, stage gates, and decision documentation
- Institutionalize governance programs and best practices
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk & Compliance, and business leaders
- Align teams on delivery, risk, and compliance requirements
- Provide clear escalation and recommendations
Compliance & Testing
- Design and execute AI compliance testing protocols
- Validate governance adherence across product stages
- Maintain testing registers and support audit simulations
Data & Reporting
- Build governance dashboards, risk heatmaps, and OKR tracking
- Deliver structured reporting to leadership
- Use data to identify risks, trends, and process improvements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk, Compliance, or related field
- 5-7 years experience in Product Governance, Risk, Compliance, Audit, or Product Ops (fintech/banking preferred)
- Strong project/program management and governance expertise
- Experience with product lifecycle frameworks and risk assessments
- Proven stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency in data reporting, dashboards, and process design
- Familiarity with AI governance, automation, or analytics tools is a plus
- Certifications (PMP, Agile, Risk/Governance) preferred
