Product Development Supervisor (Packaging)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out multiple packaging development projects for all products at any one time, these generally comprising the more technically-complex initiatives.

2. Ensure compliance of technical programs and procedures with government regulations and corporate standards for packaging, packaging safety and quality resulting to consumer safety and satisfaction.

3. Evaluate new and alternative packaging materials that are important in packaging developments and batch trial runs.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, production, supply chain, and quality assurance to ensure alignment with business goals and manage external relationships to support innovation and quality in packaging development

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or any related field
2. At least 4-7 years of experience in product and/or packaging development within the FMCG/food manufacturing industry
3. Proven experience in in-house packaged food development, including packaging design, testing, and commercialization
4. Strong knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and product lifecycle management
5. Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with ability to handle multiple projects and cross-functional teams
