Position Overview
We are looking for a Product Development Specialist to join our team and support the development of new skincare products from concept to launch. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable coordinating with both internal teams and external partners.
You will work closely with laboratory partners and cross-functional teams to help ensure products are developed, tested, and delivered according to quality standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of new skincare products from concept to launch
- Assist in gathering market insights and competitor information to support product planning
- Coordinate with external laboratory partners on formulation, testing, and product requirements
- Track product development timelines and ensure key milestones are met
- Help organize and maintain product specifications, reports, and documentation
- Facilitate communication between external partners and internal teams to ensure alignment
- Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing teams on product-related requirements
- Monitor industry trends and ingredient developments to support ongoing product improvements
- Ensure product development activities follow internal quality standards and guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3–5 years of proven experience in product development, procurement, project coordination, or working with external partners/laboratories
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent project management abilities and capacity to handle multiple concurrent initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and cross-functional collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects with external stakeholders
- Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Background in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or skincare industry is a valuable addition
- Familiarity with cosmetic regulations is beneficial
