Job Summary
The role is responsible for developing, enhancing, and managing banking products for corporate clients, ensuring alignment with business strategy, market demand, and regulatory requirements. The position involves close coordination with internal stakeholders, research on new market opportunities, and collaboration with external partners and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct product development initiatives relevant to business objectives, particularly for corporate banking products and services
- Research, analyze, and prepare studies for new marketable products, services, and target customer segments
- Identify opportunities for new product offerings and enhancements based on market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape
- Coordinate closely with relevant internal teams (e.g., relationship management, operations, risk, compliance, IT) for product implementation and business collaboration
- Lead or support product rollouts, including documentation, process alignment, and stakeholder communication
- Negotiate and manage partnerships with third-party vendors and/or partner banks to support product offerings
- Ensure product compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Provide product support to marketing, sales, and relationship management teams as needed
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 8–10 years of banking experience, specifically handling products for corporate clients
- Experience from a local or foreign bank (foreign bank experience is a strong advantage); experience must be from banks, not financial institutions
Proven experience in:
- Product development
- Corporate banking product development or product sales
- Exposure to market research, feasibility studies, or product commercialization is an advantage
- Team leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
