Job Description

  • Lead and manage the overall product development strategy of Hiessence, ensuring alignment with the company's brand direction, business objectives, and growth plans.
  • Conduct and oversee market research, competitor analysis, consumer research, and trend forecasting to identify market opportunities, customer needs, and product gaps.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for new products, product extensions, variants, and innovations within home fragrance, aromatherapy, wellness, and smart living.
  • Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept development and feasibility assessment to sourcing, prototyping, testing, production, launch, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of suppliers, manufacturers, fragrance houses, packaging suppliers, and other external partners.
  • Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and performance management to ensure quality, competitive pricing, timely delivery, and compliance with company standards.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to develop and refine diffusers, fragrances, scents, packaging, product variants, and other product components.
  • Establish and manage product development timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and E-commerce teams to develop product positioning, key selling points, product information, launch strategies, and go-to-market plans.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, and Procurement teams to ensure product readiness, inventory availability, costing, and smooth product distribution.
  • Ensure all products comply with quality, safety, regulatory, packaging, and brand standards before launch.
  • Analyze product sales, profitability, customer feedback, reviews, market performance, and inventory data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop recommendations for product enhancements, reformulations, new variants, pricing adjustments, discontinuation, or portfolio expansion.
  • Monitor competitors and global industry developments to keep Hiessence's product portfolio competitive, relevant, and innovative.
  • Establish and maintain a product innovation pipeline aligned with consumer trends and long-term business objectives.
  • Prepare and present product development proposals, business cases, market insights, and performance reports to senior management.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Product Development team, establishing clear goals, priorities, KPIs, and performance expectations.
  • Establish efficient product development processes and documentation to improve speed, quality, cost efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely execution, budget adherence, and commercial viability.
  • Support continuous improvement and expansion of Hiessence's product portfolio and innovation pipeline.
