Job Description

Develop and execute portfolio growth strategies based on market opportunities, customer needs, and business objectives.
Analyze portfolio performance and identify opportunities for expansion, innovation, optimization, or rationalization.
Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and commercial opportunities through market intelligence and research.
Build and manage a robust innovation pipeline from concept evaluation through launch.
Monitor portfolio performance and recommend actions to improve revenue, margin, and market position.
Establish pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability.
Ensure products, services, and procedures are developed and launched in accordance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
Manage relationships with suppliers, distributors, and external business partners.
Oversee innovation pipeline management and prioritize opportunities based on strategic impact and commercial potential.
Lead projects that enhance customer value, operational efficiency, and portfolio expansion opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Portfolio Development Manager should have:

A degree in Marketing, Management, or other related courses.
Atleast 5 years of experience in portfolio management, product management, marketing, business development, or related functions.
Demonstrated experience managing commercial performance, profitability, and growth initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and translate insights into strategies.
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities across internal and external partners.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
