Job Description

Company Description

Light Reach is a small, senior engineering and product team that helps startups and data-driven companies turn complex ideas into real, working products.

We work closely with founders and technical teams on:

  • early-stage product development & design
  • internal tools and dashboards
  • AI-powered and data-heavy applications

We're a lean team based in Manila (WeWork, Makati), and we care deeply about shipping, not ceremony.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Product Designer (UI/UX) located in Manila, with some flexibility for remote work. The Product Designer (UI/UX) will be responsible for crafting user-centered designs, conducting user research, and creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. The role also involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align design goals with user needs and business objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Design end-to-end product experiences (flows, wireframes, UI)
  • Translate vague ideas and business goals into clear, usable designs
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure designs are practical and shippable
  • Create and iterate on Figma files, prototypes, and design systems
  • Improve existing products based on real feedback, not theoretical personas
  • Occasionally support sales or demos with polished product visuals

What We're Looking For

  • 25+ years experience designing real, shipped products
  • Strong product thinking: you care about user outcomes, not just visuals
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving, low-process environments
  • Solid Figma skills (components, auto-layout, prototyping)
  • Able to explain why you made design decisions
  • Good written and spoken English
