Product Designer

About the Role

We're looking for a Product Designer to join our team and own the usability and experience quality of a product domain.

This is not a downstream production-design role. You'll be a full discovery partner to the Product Manager and Tech Lead—participating from problem discovery through shipped experience and having decision authority over UX and interaction design.

What You'll Do

• Participate in discovery from the start through user research, journey mapping, and problem framing.
• Own interaction design, prototyping, and usability validation.
• Build and test prototypes with real users before significant engineering investment.
• Use qualitative research and quantitative product signals to inform design decisions.
• Apply and extend a centralized design system and shared component library.
• Provide input on technical feasibility, sequencing, and experience-related architecture considerations.
• Work closely with the PM and Tech Lead to co-own business outcomes.
• Escalate proposed design-system deviations through the appropriate design governance process.

What Success Looks Like

• Usability issues are identified and addressed during prototype testing, before launch.
• Product experiences remain consistent with the centralized design system, with justified exceptions documented.
• Design decisions are grounded in real user evidence and product data, rather than internal opinion.
• The team can clearly connect design decisions to measurable product outcomes.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent university education.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience spanning research → problem definition → interaction design → validation → shipped experience.
• Working knowledge of qualitative research, including interviews and usability testing.
• Ability to use quantitative signals such as funnel/conversion data.
• Experience working with a shared design system/component library at scale.
• Comfortable partnering closely with Product and Engineering and contributing to business outcome metrics.

Compensation & Benefits

• ₱80,000–₱100,000 salary range
• 7.5 VL + 7.5 SL
• 6 to12 month contract
