Your Role
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately load and maintain product pricing, itineraries, departures, allotments, booking conditions and supporting information in Tourplan, WordPress and other relevant systems.
- Read and interpret supplier tariffs, contracts and special offers, ensuring prices, margins, mark-ups and product information are correct.
- Work collaboratively with the Director and BTD sales team to develop new itineraries and packages that are fresh, market-driven, commercially viable and easy to sell.
- Research destinations, accommodation, transport, tours and experiences to support the development and improvement of BTD products.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain and verify pricing, availability, product information and supporting content.
- Provide timely product and itinerary support to the sales team, including responding to questions and helping develop solutions for more complex enquiries.
- Keep the sales team informed of new products, special offers, important updates and changes.
- Maintain accurate and current information across internal systems, websites and sales documentation.
- Identify product gaps, errors and opportunities, and contribute practical ideas to improve products and internal processes.
Qualifications
- A qualification in tourism, travel, business, marketing or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel and web-based business systems.
- Sound numerical ability, including pricing, margins, mark-ups, discounts and currency calculations.
- Strong written English and the ability to present itinerary and product information clearly and accurately.
- Knowledge of Tourplan, WordPress or similar reservation and content-management systems is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted research and content tools would also be useful, provided the candidate understands that all outputs must be checked for accuracy.

Prior Experience
- Previous experience in travel product, reservations, operations, itinerary planning, contracting or travel sales is highly desirable.
- Experience researching and developing itineraries or travel packages would be an advantage.
- Experience interpreting supplier tariffs and converting them into customer-facing prices and packages.
- Experience with detailed data entry or loading complex information into reservation, inventory or content-management systems.
- Experience supporting a sales team or working in a commercially focused environment.
- Experience preparing clear itinerary descriptions and customer-facing travel content.
- Tourplan, WordPress and advanced Excel experience are advantageous but can be trained.
- First-hand destination knowledge of Croatia, Scandinavia, Sri Lanka, India or BTD's other core destinations would be advantageous but is not essential.
