Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Product Commodity Manager to join our team in Taguig in a full-time capacity. This on-site role involves overseeing supplier evaluation, managing purchasing activities, developing and maintaining supplier relationships, and performing contract negotiations. The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical skills to monitor market trends and ensure cost efficiency while supporting the broader organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Candidate must be a graduate of any four (4) years Business, Food Technology, or Culinary with specialty in Coffee.

· With at least 8 to 10 years in a sensory-focused role within an FMCG or high-volume specialty coffee environment. With experience in managing a team or launching a coffee program.

· Experience in coffee category management, sourcing, evaluating, testing coffee beans.

· Must be a Licensed Q Arabica (or Q Robusta) Grader: Must hold a current, valid license from the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI).

· Equivalent certification and exposure

· Active involvement in the Specialty Coffee Association of the Philippines (SCAP) or the Philippine Coffee Board Inc. (PCBI) is highly preferred.

· Reports to Head Office, BGC, Taguig City.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Direct reporting to Marketing Manager.

· Execute rigorous cupping and scoring of roasted coffee samples to ensure every batch aligns with standard.

· Partner with the R&D team to develop different coffee blends.

· Develop and execute sourcing strategies that secure quality coffee beans while optimizing cost-efficiency and supply chain reliability.

· Negotiating long-term contracts, volume discounts, and managing the financial risks associated with volatile commodity markets.

· Build strong supplier partnerships, oversee performance, and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
