Job Description:
The Product Commercialization Lead is responsible for driving the successful execution of product and marketing initiatives from planning through market launch. This role acts as a central coordinator between commercial teams, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and external partners to ensure products are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate has relevant exposure within FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
Commercialization & Project Execution
Lead the end-to-end coordination of product commercialization activities for new launches and existing product initiatives
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to assess operational readiness, production feasibility, and material availability
Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring alignment across departments involved in execution
Monitor production milestones, including trials, validation runs, and commercial deployment activities
Ensure packaging materials, artwork approvals, and production requirements are completed within agreed timelines
Identify potential risks, delays, or supply constraints and implement mitigation plans to minimize business impact
Provide regular updates on project status, execution risks, and critical dependencies to management and stakeholders
Supply Chain & Production Coordination
Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to support accurate demand planning and production scheduling
Validate volume forecasts and recommend adjustments based on operational capability and market requirements
Coordinate material planning and replenishment to support uninterrupted production and product availability
Support post-launch evaluations, including inventory management recommendations and replenishment planning
Business Planning Support
Contribute to annual and periodic business planning activities through data analysis, volume assessment, and operational alignment
Support decision-making by evaluating commercialization feasibility, resource requirements, and execution readiness
Ensure required approvals and documentation are secured to enable timely production and deployment
Continuous Improvement
Drive initiatives that improve commercialization workflows, planning processes, and cross-functional coordination
Recommend process enhancements that increase efficiency, transparency, and execution accuracy
Develop and maintain reporting tools and tracking mechanisms to improve project visibility and stakeholder alignment
Promote best practices in project execution, supplier coordination, and operational planning
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
8-10 years of experience in product commercialization, project management, supply chain coordination, or marketing operations
Strong understanding of production planning, material management, and cross-functional project execution
Experience working with procurement teams, suppliers, and manufacturing operations is highly preferred
Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Effective communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in project tracking, reporting, and planning tools
Experience within FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing, or related industries is an advantage
