The Product Associate supports the sales team by managing IT solutions, generating and qualifying leads, preparing accurate quotations, and handling run-rate deals. This role ensures opportunities are properly scoped, priced according to company margin standards, and progressed efficiently to keep the sales pipeline active. The Product Associate also plays a key role in sales enablement and coordination with internal teams, vendors, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation
- Generate and qualify new leads for assigned solutions.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities each month.
- Record, track, and update all leads in the CRM and reporting tools.
Quotations & Sales Support
- Prepare accurate quotations and proposals sourced from distributors or principals.
- Assist the sales team with pricing, product information, and solution clarification.
- Ensure all deals comply with the company's minimum gross profit requirements.
- Process and manage deal registrations with vendors and partners.
Run-Rate Selling
- Handle end-to-end sales for approved run-rate accounts.
- Coordinate proposals, follow-ups, and deal closure activities.
- Escalate or hand off larger and more complex opportunities to the Sales team.
Sales Enablement
- Prepare and deliver product and partner solution updates to the sales team.
- Provide updates on new offerings, pricing changes, and solution positioning.
- Help maintain and update solution materials, playbooks, and reference documents.
Reporting & Coordination
- Track and monitor leads, quotations, and deal progress.
- Coordinate with internal teams, distributors, and vendors as needed.
- Maintain accurate and updated records in CRM and reporting systems.
Performance Metrics
- Quality and consistency of leads generated
- Achievement of run-rate sales targets
- Accuracy and profitability of quotations
- Level of support provided to the sales team
- Timeliness and accuracy of reports and CRM updates
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- With good communication and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working with numbers, pricing structures, and proposals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and CRM systems.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
