Position Accountability Statement
The Product Analyst supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of assigned products by providing analytical, documentation, and coordination support across the product lifecycle.
The role is responsible for translating product concepts and decisions into clear documentation, analysis, and execution inputs, supporting Product Officers and Leads in ensuring products are correctly designed, implemented, monitored, and improved in accordance with approved product intent, operational rules, and regulatory requirements.
Operating as a key contributor within the product team, the Product Analyst focuses on data analysis, requirements documentation, testing support, performance tracking, and issue identification, enabling Product Officers and Leads to deliver commercially sound, operationally executable, and compliant products.
Specific Areas Of Accountability
- Product Development & Documentation Support
- Assist Product Officers and Leads in developing and maintaining product documentation, including:
- Benefit structures, coverage details, limits, and exclusions
- Eligibility rules
- Product summaries, internal memos, and reference materials
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with approved product designs and governance standards.
- Assist in maintaining version control and product documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Product Requirements & System Support
- Assist Product Officers in translating approved product designs into business requirements.
- Assist in validating product rules, workflows, and customer-facing materials for accuracy.
- Help identify gaps and inconsistencies and escalate these to the Product Officer/Lead.
- Cross-Functional Coordination & Delivery Support
- Coordinate with other teams such as Operations, Clinics, Technology, Actuarial, Sales, Risk, and other teams to support product implementation activities
- Participate in UAT, product walkthroughs, and readiness reviews, supporting test execution and documentation of results.
- Monitor tasks and dependencies, action items, risks, and dependencies and escalate issues to the Product Officer/Leads as needed.
- Product Performance Monitoring & Insights
- Support post-launch monitoring of assigned products, including:
- Uptake and utilization trends
- Operational issues and incidents
- Customer, provider, and clinic feedback
- Identify early signals of product issues or improvement opportunities and flag these to the Product Officer/Lead.
- Regulatory, Governance & Compliance Support
- Assist in preparing and organizing documentation required for internal approvals, regulatory submissions, and audits.
- Ensure product records, approvals, and product artifacts are complete and accurate.
- Follow established product development and governance frameworks.
- Continuous Improvement & Team Support
- Support process improvements within the Product Development team, including:
- Templates, trackers, and tools
- Documentation standards
- Workflows
- Learn and apply best practices in product development, analytics, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide execution support to Product Officers/Leads and other team members as required.

Professional Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related courses
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience in product support, business analysis, operations, or project coordination, or similar roles
- Fresh graduates with strong analytical, documentation, or internship experience are welcome
- Exposure to healthcare, insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries is a plus but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications; familiarity with basic analytics and reporting tools is an advantage
