Product and Channels Management Division Head

III - JOB PURPOSE

The position is primarily responsible forsetting and implementing strategies to build new products and enhance digital channels and other connections (mobile app, cash agent, CIB, ATM and POS, etc.). The position is also responsible for monitoring the profit and loss of these digital systems, managing the risks, and ensuring compliance with regulations and controls in adherence to security protocols.

V - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Time Allocation

  1. Policy Formulation and Enforcement
  1. Formulates and enforces policies, systems, and procedures to deliver new and enhanced products that cater to the needs of the clients and aligned with managements direction.
  2. Leads the creation and implementation of best practices, strategies, and improved processes to keep up with the increasing requirements of the business.
  3. Spearheads the innovation, enhancement, and management of digital products offered by a bank.

  1. Product Development
    1. Formulates the planning and project developmentfor improvements of digital products and services.
    2. Managesthe new project and its business requirements as to specifications and design.
    3. Communicates with bank unitsand other stakeholders to plan and execute the projectwithin scope, timeline, and approved budget.
    4. Identifies and addresses project risks. Develops contingency measures to pursue the project as planned.
    5. Maintains business relationship with external contractors and partnership with stakeholders.
    6. Directs the testing, quality, and configuration to ensure seamless integration and implementation of new products.
    7. Keeps abreast with the trend and latest technology to cope up with the changing business landscape.

  1. Channels Management
  1. Develops and implements a comprehensive multichannel strategy that aligns with the bank's overall business goals.
  2. Initiates bank's digital transformation initiatives and identify opportunities for optimization of digital channels such as online banking, mobile banking, and digital wallets.
  3. Promotes adherence to regulatory requirements related to banking channels and ensure compliance with security to protect customer information and prevent fraud.

  1. Management Leadership
  1. Finalizes plans, programs, budget, and performance targets of the division for approval of the Bank President.
  2. Plans, directs, and coordinates all activities in the department to reach maximum level of employee productivity throughout the workforce.
  3. Provides upfront leadership in supervising all direct and indirect reports and planning for their career advancement and aspirations.
  4. Supervises and evaluates the performance of all direct reports.
  5. Approves/schedules all vacation leaves of all direct reports.

  1. Others
  1. Participates actively during staff meetings, training programs and other professional development work.
  2. Makes recommendations on matters pertinent to business operations and other related activities.
  3. Performs other related duties as assigned.
