We are seeking an entrepreneurial and strategic Product and Category Growth Lead to drive the expansion of our premium online business. In this role, you will be the architect of our product portfolio, identifying high-potential brands and leading product development initiatives that resonate with our target segments and core value proposition.
You will bridge the gap between market white spaces and commercial reality, managing everything from initial brand negotiations to high-impact go-to-market execution.
Product Acquisition & Strategic Partnerships
Identify product gaps and recommend new categories or lines to strengthen the current assortment.
Develop relationships with prospective brand partners and negotiate favorable collaboration terms.
Evaluate potential partners based on brand equity, alignment with company values, and business viability.
Drive product development by working closely with sourcing and supply chain teams, including white-label and third-party partnerships.
Growth Strategy & Lifecycle Management
Recommend pricing strategies that balance consumer value perception with business profitability.
Monitor product performance throughout its lifecycle and recommend actions such as expansion, refinement, or discontinuation.
Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring competitor launches, market movements, and emerging consumer behaviors.
Operational & Marketing Integration
Forecast sales volumes for new and existing SKUs to support demand and inventory planning.
Partner with marketing teams to co-develop launch strategies and ensure product value propositions are clearly communicated across all online touchpoints.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely product onboarding and continuous availability.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in product development, brand partnerships, or business development, ideally within the eCommerce or Retail sectors.
Core Expertise: A strong understanding of white-label development, brand onboarding, and online product merchandising.
Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships and negotiate complex contracts.
Analytical Skills: Solid experience in sales forecasting and working with cross-functional teams like marketing, operations, and logistics.
Mindset: An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently and drive projects from initial ideation to final execution.
Location: Alabang, Muntinlupa (On-site/Hybrid as per policy)
Reporting To: Business Unit Head
Supervision: This is an individual contributor role requiring heavy cross-functional influence.
