Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing/Procurement Specialist with experience in the furniture manufacturing industry to manage the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, hardware, and production supplies. The role is responsible for ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards and supporting uninterrupted production operations.

• Source and procure raw materials, hardware, fittings, and production supplies for furniture manufacturing.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Issue purchase orders and monitor deliveries to ensure materials arrive on schedule.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and suppliers to maintain adequate inventory levels.
• Evaluate supplier performance and establish strong vendor relationships.
• Monitor purchasing costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and documentation requirements.
• Resolve supply, delivery, and quality issues with vendors promptly.

• At least 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience in a furniture manufacturing or modular cabinet company is required.
• Strong knowledge of furniture materials, boards, laminates, hardware, accessories, and production supplies.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, vendor negotiation, and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP or purchasing systems.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Available to start immediately and willing to work Mon-Sat.
