Job Description

Overview

This position is responsible for supporting the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating goods and services. This role ensures that procurement activities are completed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies and procedures. The position also requires a data-driven mindset to support cost optimization and value-based procurement decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Purchase Requests (PRs) and convert them into Purchase Orders (POs)
  • Source suppliers and request quotations/proposals
  • Evaluate and compare pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines to support procurement decisions
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and specifications
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and filing systems
  • Assist in contract preparation and vendor accreditation requirements
  • Liaise with suppliers on order status, updates, and issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and approval workflows
  • Conduct basic data and price analysis to ensure cost-efficiency and competitiveness of procurement outcomes
  • Support cost benchmarking and identify opportunities for savings and value optimization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative roles
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain concepts
  • Experience in BPO or consultancy services procurement is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
