Job Description

Woolworths Group is seeking an enthusiastic Procurement Operations Support Specialist to support the operational excellence of our non-trade procurement systems.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-day management of procurement content, specifically ensuring that Catalogues and Contracts are accurately created, maintained, and optimized to make procurement activities easy for our business stakeholders.

This role is reporting to the Procurement Systems & Operations Manager, this role involves leading the content management lifecycle (creation, validation, upload, and maintenance) within the core Procurement systems (Ariba Procurement, Zip, SAP ERP).

The successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert for transactional content, ensuring data integrity for catalogues and commodity codes, while also providing functional support (Level 2/3) to end users to drive timely issue resolution.

THE ROLE

Catalogue & Content Management

  • Catalogue Administration: detailed management of Catalogue creation and maintenance, ensuring vendor items are correctly formatted, priced, and available to the business.
  • Operational Contracts: Manage the setup and maintenance of Contract Workspaces and Contract Terms (Operational Contracts) to ensure seamless linking between contracts and purchasing execution.
  • Data Integrity: Perform administrative activities including the maintenance of commodity codes and GL mappings to ensure financial accuracy and system control.
  • System Configuration: Perform minor system configurations required to support content enablement and procurement policy adherence.

System Efficiency & Support

  • Issue Resolution: Provide timely and useful responses to support requests, working as a Level 2/3 Functional Support Specialist.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the technical teams (Internal IT and System Vendors) to drive timely issue resolution for complex technical problems.
  • Testing: Assist in performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new content loads, system enhancements, or feature releases.

Partnering & Continuous Improvement

  • Enhancements: Assist with the identification and prioritization of solution enhancements to improve the content management process and user experience.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage effectively with business stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate accurate content data collection.
  • Training Support: Provide technical assistance to end users and contribute to the education of stakeholders on how to utilize catalogues effectively.

WHO YOU ARE

Essential Experience

  • Catalogue Expertise: Proven experience with Ariba Catalogue setup & management is essential for this role.
  • Contract Management: Experience with Ariba Contract Workspace and Contract Terms (Operational Contracts).
  • Ticket Management: Prior experience in the management of support tickets and providing technical assistance.
  • P2P Knowledge: Desirable experience with other Ariba modules or similar Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platforms.

Qualifications
