Job Description

JobSummary

Inthis role you will report to the Procurement as a Service Leader as aProcurement Lead for a regional client-account with a job title of ProcurementManager. You will be responsible for leading, planning and managing theexecution of procurement activities for the client-account.

EssentialDuties And Responsibilities

AccountManagement

  • SinglePoint of Contact of a CBRE Regional Account
  • Workswith the Regional Account Leadership and all relevant stakeholders to ensuresuccess of procurement plans
  • Createand develop strong working relationships with key internal and externalpartners and implement process improvement within the organization
  • Managesthe Account's expectations and relationship
  • Holdsproactive regular business reviews with the Account leadership and all relevantstakeholders
  • Holdsregular procurement trainings / webinars (process and practices) to the AccountOperations to ensure procurement activities are delivered to countries withlanguage requirement/s
  • Actsas the Procurement Point of Contact of CBRE Functional Teams (PaaS, Proc Ops,Finance, FM teams etc) and ensure internal activities / requirements areachieved for the account

RegionalProcurement Management

  • Managethe overall Procurement processes such as Strategic Sourcing, CategoryManagement, Spend Management, Contracts Management, Supplier PerformanceManagement
  • Managemultiple categories and services within categories and is responsible forplanning, organizing and implementation national/regional contracting andprocurement strategies and programs to increase operational efficiency andprofitability
  • Implementstandardized systems and controls for procurement including RFP documentation,work authorization, purchase and change order systems, and supplier/contractoreligibility criteria
  • Developand manage relationships with regional suppliers/contractors and lead incontract negotiations and supplier relationship management
  • Managesupplier/ contractor background and compliance screening
  • Managethe supplier/contractor certification process including review of requisiteexperience, legal and organizational structure, financial viability, geographiccoverage, insurance requirements and other capabilities
  • Re-evaluateand optimize existing procurement strategies and agreements, manage insuranceor warranty claims, resolve contractual issues and unresolved supplierperformance and relationship issues, and negotiate variations to contractscope. Define and align with the accounton their roles and responsibilities across the contract life-cycle – reviewingand amending this as circumstances and objectives change. Finalize contract terms and conditions andassociated schedules and obtain authorized signatures from both parties. Defineand set objectives, performance targets, SLAs & KPIs and strategy forcontract implementation with key suppliers.
  • Developand implement short and long-term continuous improvement programs to furtherleverage Procurement solutions for enhanced commercial and strategic advantageto CBRE regional account operations. This includes all aspects of theProcurement including internal processes, policies, service delivery channels,etc.
  • Establishrequirements for and ensure the integrity of centralized procurement databasesystems. Serves as key point of contact for utilization management andcoordination with procurement/e-procurement solutions.
  • Developa comprehensive sourcing strategy, including category management strategies andidentify commercial agreement plan to minimize total cost of ownership andmaximize value that will drive competitive advantage and meet Procurementgovernance requirements. The sourcing strategy includes an analysis to managerisks and target all aspects of cost and value to the supply chain. Decide onthe most appropriate service delivery channel for various segments of thecategory and enable it for effective and efficient delivery; this may includechange management with other departments. Implement the sourcing strategy bydeveloping a negotiation strategy, tendering (as applicable) and negotiatingwith suppliers/contractors and recommending a final selection
  • ManageProcurement Platform projects as required

Qualifications

Therequirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/orability required to perform the job requirement successfully

Education& Experience

  • Bachelorsdegree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering equivalent to a4-year college program in relevant discipline
  • 6to 10 years experience in Procurement / Purchasing / Supply Chain Management

Certification

  • BachelorDegree
  • MBA/ CIPS / CPP / Diploma in Supply Chain Management is an advantage

CommunicationsSkills Requirement

  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analyticalskills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service tostakeholders. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respondeffectively to sensitive issues
  • Fluentin English. Able to read, speak & write to external and internalstakeholders

FinancialAcumen

  • Abilityto comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex documents.
  • Abilityto solve problems involving several options in situations. Advanced analyticaland quantitative skills is preferred

Toolsof the Trade

  • Experiencein working with Financial Institutions is preferred
  • Advancedin Microsoft Office Suite Products especially in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Experiencein PowerBI / Tableau or any equivalent tool/s is/are preferred
  • Experiencein working with and managing e-procurement and contracts management platforms.
  • Stronginterpersonal and organizational skills with ability to manage multipleprojects simultaneously.
  • Strongleadership skills
  • Knowledgein Project Management is required
