This role leads the end-to-end procurement and category management activities for Logistics, Warehousing, Administrative Services, and General Procurement. The Procurement Manager will drive sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and support both country and regional initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong analytical capability, stakeholder management, and the ability to independently deliver complex sourcing projects.
Key Responsibilities
Category & Strategy Management
- Manage assigned categories (Logistics, Warehouse, Administration, and General Procurement) and partner closely with internal stakeholders and Regional Category Managers.
- Develop and implement strategic category plans aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze spend patterns, market intelligence, and business needs to identify opportunities, risks, and sourcing strategies.
- Recommend improvements to procurement strategies, processes, and operating procedures.
Sourcing & Procurement Execution
- Lead end-to-end sourcing projects: strategy development, bidding/quotation management, negotiations, evaluation, award recommendation, and contract execution.
- Run efficient RFx processes and ensure transparency, competitiveness, and cost optimization.
- Establish and manage rate cards to streamline benchmarking, sourcing, and negotiations.
- Ensure timely issuance of purchase orders and adherence to procurement policies.
Contract & Supplier Management
- Review, manage, and negotiate contracts in coordination with the legal team.
- Monitor contract performance, expiry timelines, and renewals to ensure proactive management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, develop scorecards, and facilitate constructive performance feedback.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, ideally with exposure to indirect categories.
- Experience in logistics or administrative procurement is an advantage.
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with procurement systems is a plus.
- Clear understanding of category strategy development and sourcing best practices.
- Solid grasp of supplier and agency operating models, rate structures, and cost drivers.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
