Procurement Manager

Who we are:

Link Energie Industries Co. Inc. is a construction company with 22 years of experience specializing in water infrastructure projects, including pipelaying, wastewater facilities, and reservoir engineering. We are currently managing seven ongoing projects across Greater Metro Manila in partnership with Manila Water and Maynilad.

About the Job:

Oversees and ensures effective and efficient procurement and delivery of the required materials

and equipment of the administrative and operations departments.

Provides support in the overall management of the department targets and activities and

responsible in creating and/or supporting initiatives to drive results measured by generated

savings from purchases, on-time delivery of materials, supplier relations, supplier performance,

and implemented improvements in the supply chain process.

About the Role:

• Supports the company operations by ensuring all material & equipment requests are delivered on time and inventories stay at targeted levels for success
• Ensures that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications
• Positively impacts the company financials by negotiating pricing and contract terms with suppliers to hit the target savings and limit cash outflow
• Sources new vendors, establishes and maintains supplier relations, and periodically reviews supplier performances
• Coordinates with the Operations and Engineering teams to ensure accurate procurement and delivery forecasting
• Coordinates with the Warehouse or Materials Management department to
• maximize inventory and maintain healthy levels of consumable materials
• Collaborates with the Accounting and Finance departments to forecast project purchases, determine working capital needs, and ensure timely payment of suppliers
• Provides periodical reports (monthly, quarterly, annually, etc.) to the Top Management that which summarizes and provides analysis of the department objectives, accomplishments, identified issues and concerns, and action plans for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering / Business Administration / Economics or other related discipline
• With at least 5 years in managerial capacity in a related function.
• Experience in: Vendor/supplier management, Contract negotiation, Cost control and budgeting, Strategic sourcing
• Experience in Construction industry or similar has high advantage
• Required licensed Engineer (Electrical or Industrial)
