Great companies are built on great systems.
Behind every seamless customer experience is a network of suppliers, partners, workplaces, and operational processes that perform reliably, efficiently, and at scale. We are seeking an exceptional Procurement & Facilities Head to lead and transform these critical functions for a fast-growing digital technology organisation.
This is not a role for someone who is satisfied maintaining the status quo. We are looking for a leader who raises the bar, challenges conventional thinking, and relentlessly drives improvement. You will have the opportunity to shape procurement strategy, strengthen supplier partnerships, optimise workplace operations, and build scalable processes that enable long-term growth.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, bringing a strong sense of ownership, sound commercial judgement, and a passion for operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Lead Procurement as a Strategic Business Function
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that deliver long-term value, operational efficiency, and business impact.
- Build strong supplier partnerships while maintaining rigorous standards for performance, quality, risk management, and accountability.
- Lead complex sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions across a diverse portfolio of vendors and service providers.
- Drive cost optimisation and value creation opportunities without compromising quality, customer experience, or business outcomes.
- Establish scalable procurement policies, governance frameworks, and controls that support a growing organisation.
- Use data and insights to inform decisions, identify opportunities, and continuously improve procurement performance.
Build High-Performing Workplace and Facilities Operations
- Lead facilities and workplace operations to create environments that enable teams to perform at their best.
- Develop and implement strategies that improve efficiency, reliability, safety, and employee experience.
- Oversee facilities maintenance, workplace services, space planning, and operational readiness programmes.
- Manage critical vendor relationships and service delivery across multiple facilities and support functions.
- Drive workplace improvement initiatives, operational enhancements, and facilities-related projects from planning through execution.
Raise Standards Across the Organisation
- Define meaningful performance metrics and establish mechanisms that drive accountability and measurable results.
- Simplify processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and identify scalable solutions to operational challenges.
- Partner with leaders across the organisation to align procurement and facilities strategies with business priorities.
- Anticipate risks, solve complex problems, and make informed decisions in fast-moving environments.
- Build, develop, and inspire high-performing teams that are committed to excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Extensive leadership experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, facilities management, workplace operations, or related functions.
- Demonstrated success leading procurement programmes, vendor management initiatives, and large-scale commercial negotiations.
- Strong financial, analytical, and commercial acumen with a track record of delivering measurable business results.
- Experience building systems, processes, and governance frameworks that scale with organisational growth.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in complex environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within technology, digital services, e-commerce, fintech, shared services, or other high-growth industries.
- Track record of leading operational transformation, process improvement, or organisational change initiatives.
- Experience managing large and diverse supplier ecosystems.
- Professional certifications in procurement, supply chain, facilities management, or related disciplines.
Why This Role
This is an opportunity to lead functions that have a direct impact on how a growing organisation scales, innovates, and operates. You will have significant ownership, visibility, and influence, with the freedom to challenge existing processes, build for the future, and deliver meaningful business outcomes.
We're looking for a leader who thinks big, earns trust, dives deep into the details, and consistently raises standards. If you are energised by solving complex problems, building scalable solutions, and delivering results through others, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
