Procurement Engineer

Role Overview:

The Procurement Supervisor for Construction is responsible for supervising the procurement for construction contract packages, specifically Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) work packages. This includes coordination with the project team to understand their requirements, conducting coordination and pre-bid conferences, and doing the procurement itself from sourcing to award. The role ensures that procurement is cost-effective, timely, and in compliance with company policies and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in construction project management with an emphasis on procurement and the execution of construction projects

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Civil Engineer, Architect, Mechanical Engineer, or Electrical Engineer with preferred experience in Cost Estimating, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• With more than three (3) years of experience in construction project management, Cost engineering & cost forensics, quantity surveying and/or construction procurement.
• Previous experience in procurement within the construction industry is highly desirable.
• Demonstrates advanced negotiation skills with the ability to establish strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Proven experience in vendor management to ensure timely delivery, cost control, and quality compliance.
