Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for managing material requirements, supplier sourcing, and cost-efficient procurement strategies for electronic, mechanical, and PCB-related components.

• In-charge for material requirements for electronic & mechanical / fabrication parts and PCB raw board.
• Source and outsource both direct and indirect materials globally.
• Conduct bidding for both registered and potential suppliers for all requirements for components needed for NBD.
• Able to breakdown all essential components needed for new projects and effectively breakdown for sourcing.
• Identify improvement opportunities and value adding activities with focus on improving turn-around time and increasing efficiency for the team.
• Participate and support the team's Process Improvement Projects.
• Initiate sourcing, bidding, negotiations, and vendor accreditation of newly developed suppliers who will supply products and services to the company.
• Register and maintain master data for all materials in the system.
• Participate with NPI activities for material costing part.
• Contribute to cost reduction activities thru various methods of VE or localization.
• Be able to pool the best suppliers viable for the needs of the company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Must be part of the Top 10 of his/her graduating batch.
• Knowledgeable for electrical components, PCB technical data analysis and familiarization with fabrication and tooling.
• Willing to be trained and able to work under pressure.
• With experience in purchasing and commodity sourcing
• SAP other ERP Systems knowledge/experience is preferred.
• Builds good relationship with stakeholders and business partners.
• Have good excels skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
