About the role: We're looking for a Procurement Category Specialist to join our growing team and lead strategic sourcing initiatives that optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.
Work Location: Taguig City
Work Setup: Hybrid (2-3x a week RTO)
Work Shift: Day Shift
Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable depending on performance and client needs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key suppliers and strategic partners.
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments to identify opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Drive procurement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and value creation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of procurement experience, preferably in strategic sourcing, particularly within manpower, consultancy, or professional services.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
