Job Purpose

The Procurement Category Manager for Agriculture and Fruits will direct and lead the development, planning, and execution of category procurement strategies to deliver sustainable competitive advantage through cost optimization, total lifecycle value, demand management, supplier innovation, risk mitigation, and supply continuity. Ensure operational and company-wide requirements are fulfilled at the right quality, quantity, time, service level, and total cost.

Further, this role will provide strategic leadership, governance, and tactical support to the overall

Procurement function and, where applicable, partner with cross-functional teams and business

stakeholders to improve decision-making, operational performance, compliance, and value delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Related Courses. Masteral Degree is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years relevant procurement experience in a leadership capacity from a food manufacturing or Agriculture industry.
  • Experience in managing agricultural and chemicals, or related direct procurement categories will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong familiarity with SAP and Ivalua or any similar Procurement systems.
  • Extensive knowledge in the end-to-end procurement process including but not limited to Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Management, Supply Chain Operation, Project Management, Strategic Planning, Leading, Organizing & Controlling.
  • High degree of analytical skill, detail-orientation, problem-solving and solution-driven.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and persuasion skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders and in a cross
  • divisional/cultural environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willing to relocate to and be based in Polomolok, South Cotabato, and work on a full-time onsite arrangement.
